Medical review and editorial policy
Last updated 9 Oct 2026
Who reviews our content
Every article, tool and week page that gives health information is reviewed by a licensed clinician. Our lead medical reviewer is Professor Dr Farhat. Each article shows the reviewer's name and the date it was last reviewed.
Sources we use
We base content on national and international guidance, in this order: the World Health Organization; national bodies such as NICE and the NHS (UK), ACOG (USA), RCOG, and health ministries in the UAE, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh; then peer-reviewed research. Where guidance differs between countries, we say so.
How we write
- Plain language, with a short answer at the top of every page.
- Clear signposting to urgent care when something could be serious.
- No product claims that aren't backed by evidence.
- Cultural context written by people from the communities we serve.
Updates and corrections
We review every health page at least once a year, and sooner when guidance changes. If you spot an error, email hello@pregnancytracker.online with the page link. We correct errors quickly and note significant changes on the page.
Advertising and independence
Advertisers never see or influence our content before publication. Ads are clearly labelled and never placed inside tools. See our advertising policy.
