Privacy policy
Last updated 9 Oct 2026
Short version: without an account, your pregnancy dates and logs stay on your device and we don't receive them. If you choose to create an account, we store what you save so you can use it on any device. We never sell your health data or use it for advertising. We use cookies for analytics and advertising only if you agree.
1. Who we are
Nine Moons (https://pregnancytracker.online) is operated by Nine Moon Pregnancy Tracker, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). For privacy questions, email privacy@pregnancytracker.online.
2. Data that stays on your device
When you use our tools, the information you enter (due date, period dates, kick counts, contraction times, weight, checklist progress) is stored in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to us unless you create an account (see section 3). You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data or using "Delete my data" in cookie settings.
3. Data we collect
- Your account (only if you create one): your name, email or phone number, sign-in method, and the pregnancy information you choose to save (due date, logs, checklists). It is stored with Google Firebase, encrypted in transit and at rest, and only you can access it. You can download or delete it from your account page at any time.
- Usage data (with your consent): pages visited, device type, approximate country, collected through analytics cookies.
- Advertising data (with your consent where required): see section 5.
- Messages you send us: your name, email and message when you contact us or ask an expert a question.
- WhatsApp or email sign-up: your phone number or email and your due date, only if you sign up for weekly messages.
We do not sell your personal data. Form submissions are stored in a secure database run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. We keep them only as long as we need them to reply to you or send your updates, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. We never use health information you enter to target advertising.
4. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the site and keep it secure (legitimate interests).
- Analytics and personalised advertising (your consent, where the law requires it).
- To answer your messages and send the updates you asked for (consent, which you can withdraw).
- To store and sync the health information in your account (your explicit consent, given when you sign in; withdraw it by deleting your account).
5. Advertising by Google
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent tool and Google Consent Mode, so no advertising or analytics cookies are set until you agree.
6. Who we share data with
Hosting, analytics, advertising, email and messaging providers who process data on our behalf under contract. A list is available on request. Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
- Messages: up to 24 months.
- Weekly message subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
- Analytics: up to 14 months.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@pregnancytracker.online. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

9. Children
Nine Moons is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16 (13 in the USA).
10. Security
